After eight years, two EuroLeague titles, and three Turkish championships, Bryant Dunston is leaving Anadolu Efes, as officially confirmed by the club.
The 37-year-old center joined the Istanbul team in 2015 from Olympiacos and played a significant role in building the squad that became European champions twice in a row (2021, 2022).
“A leader, a captain, a legend… We are grateful to you for the records you broke, for your achievements, for your dedication and struggle. You will always be part of our family, MASTER OF THE BLOCKS. Thank you for everything, Cap,” Anadolu Efes stated.

Dunston played four years of college basketball at Fordham before moving to South Korea in 2009. He then moved to Europe, signing with Aris Thessaloniki and later playing for Bnei Herzliya and Hapoel Holon in Israel. He spent the 2012-13 season in Varese before joining Olympiacos, where he won the Greek title. During his time in Piraeus, the US center was named EuroLeague’s Best Defender twice (2014, 2015) and was a blocks leader (2014 and again in 2018 with Efes).
Anadolu Efes is making significant changes this summer, with several players already leaving the club. Meanwhile, Tyrique Jones, Derek Willis, Erkan Yilmaz, and Dogus Ozdemiroglu have signed with Erden Can’s team in the past week.
