Devin Booker avoided a serious knee injury but will sit out the next few games of FC Bayern Munich in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague and domestic competitions in Germany.
Upon medical evaluation, the recovery timeline shared by the team based in Munich set his absence at a couple of weeks.
Booker was injured on Sunday, during the domestic meeting with ALBA Berlin.

Despite the setback in Round 19 of the easyCredit BBL Regular Season, his side went on to defeat the fellow EuroLeague outfit in overtime and improve to a league-high 12-4 in the easyCredit BBL Regular Season.
Moving to Round 25 of the EuroLeague Regular Season, the team coached by Gordon Herbert took down EA7 Emporio Armani Milan in SAP Garden on Tuesday, jumping to 15-10 and fitting inside the top-six zone leading directly to the Playoffs at the end of the 34-game double-legged round-robin schedule.
Besides Booker, Shabazz Napier is also dealing with an injury heading to Round 26 of the EuroLeague Regular Season and another home challenge through the bottom end of a two-game week with LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne visiting on Thursday.
Before missing a team outing in the ongoing continental campaign for the first time, the experienced center tallied 15.2 points, 4.9 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 0.8 steals, and 0.2 blocks per contest, starting in all 24 games. Over the last seven years in Europe’s premier club continental competitions, he became a veteran of 171 appearances, including 68 with Bayern.
