Derek Willis’ wife pointed to a frustrated supporter of Panathinaikos Aktor, claiming he threw beer on babies after Anadolu Efes prevailed in OAKA Altion and tied a best-of-five series at 1-1 on Thursday evening.
A shocking incident was confirmed by the wife of Mathias Lessort.
In dismay, Keely Willis went on X and shared her experience of witnessing such acts against babies in a basketball game. “Throwing beer at babies because you lose a game is wild behavior,” she revealed.

Illustrating an even worse picture in a disgusting reaction by a fan, the partner of the Efes player added in a separate post that the babies are only nine months old.

Moreover, she labeled the beer thrown on newborns as unfortunate, welcoming overall hospitality by the Greens through the first week of the 2025 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Playoffs in Athens. “No hate to anyone. We were treated nicely this week,” she mentioned.

The wife of Panathinaikos player Mathias Lessort, Traicy, was also in attendance and reviewed the incident, sharing her opinion in a story on her Instagram account.
“It’s OK to be angry because the team lost. But don’t blame women with children,” she wrote, “I’ve never seen that.”
Next week, the series will move to Basketball Development Center. Game 3 is schedule on Wednesday and Game 4 on Friday. If the teams split wins in Istanbul, a decider for a spot in the 2025 Final Four will be played in the Greek capital on May 6.
