With two new faces coming to the roster of FC Barcelona, the agent of Jan Vesely clarifies the situation for the 35-year-old Czech forward

Barcelona is moving fast in the summer market, and sources close to the deal confirm that the team has already signed Toko Shengelia and Myles Cale, who was first revealed as a target of the team by Eurohoops.

Cale is essentially replacing Justin Anderson, who is expected to move to Dubai BC, however, this might not be the only player leaving the team.

Until recently, Willy Hernangomez’s position appeared to be in question, but he denied any intention of leaving.

Considering the club’s very strict financial situation, Jan Vesely, who has a contract for one more season, may end up being the one who leaves.

The 35-year-old big man remains one of the most solid EuroLeague players in his position, however, he missed eight EuroLeague games due to injury on the final stretch of the season and played only 15 games in the Spanish Liga Endesa.

It is worth noting that Vesely is not on the market for another team, but if an offer were to come in, Barcelona seems willing to part ways with him.

“Jan Vesely is under the contract and will play for FC Barcelona next season,” his agent, Misko Raznatovic, cleared the situation surrounding the experienced Czech forward via an X post on Tuesday.
