Olympiacos Piraeus announced that center Nikola Milutinov signed a three-year contract extension with the club. As Eurohoops reported, the two sides reached an agreement on a deal for the next two seasons that includes an option for 2027-28.

Apart from Olympiacos, Milutinov was in advanced talks with Olimpia Milano while Panathinaikos Athens, the Reds’ archrival, made him a lucrative, three-year, 9-million offer. In the end, the Serbian center chose to stay in Piraeus with a 6.5 million salary for the next three years.

Milutinov averaged 8.2 points and 5.8 rebounds in 19:51 minutes over 29 EuroLeague games as Olympiacos reached the Final Four for the fourth straight season. In the Greek League, the 30-year-old big man helped the team win the championship title, posting 17 points and six rebounds plus 11 points and nine rebounds respectively in the Game 3 and 4 wins over Panathinaikos.

In 2023, Milutinov joined Olympiacos for his second stint with the team after 2015 – 2020. He spent the next three seasons with CSKA Moscow before his return to Greece.
