Joffrey Lauvergne confirmed his departure from LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne.

Shortly following the conclusion of the 2024-25 campaign and his side being eliminated in the Semifinals of the Betclic Elite Playoffs 2025 by AS Monaco, he formally wrapped a three-year run with the French club.

“After three years of collaboration with LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne, it’s time for me to turn the page,” he bid farewell in a post on X, “Many thanks to the club for the trust and the moments shared. I wish ASVEL all the best for the future.”

Returning to France after focusing his career overseas for ten years, including four NBA seasons, the native of Mulhouse joined ASVEL in 2022. Logging 53 appearances in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague over the last three years, he upped his total to 170, supported by earlier spells with Zalgiris, Fenerbahce Beko, Partizan, and Elan Chalon.

His 2024-25 journey in Europe’s premier club continental competition featured 11.3 points, 4.9 rebounds, 1.1 assists, 0.5 steals, and 0.2 blocks per contest over 19 games, including 13 starts. At the domestic level, he tallied 11.5 points, 4.0 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 0.2 steals, and 0.1 blocks per contest over 30 appearances in all competitions.

In the NBA between 2015 and 2018, Lauvergne made his way to 212 games with the Chicago Bulls, San Antonio Spurs, Denver Nuggets, and Oklahoma City Thunder. Back in 2013, he was selected with the 55th overall pick of the draft by the Memphis Grizzlies.
