Olympiacos has made an addition close to the rim, bringing back to Greece one of the Greek national team’s most athletic centers.
As previously reported by Eurohoops, Kostas Antetokounmpo has officially signed a two-year contract with the team from Piraeus to back up Nikola Milutinov.
Giannis’ brother had started the 2024-25 season with Panathinaikos, where he collected 35 EuroLeague appearances, and he also contributed to winning the 2024 EuroLeague.
Finishing the season with UCAM Murcia, he averaged 4.4 points and 3.5 rebounds per game in the ACB, while in the Basketball Champions League, his numbers decreased to 1.5 points and 1.8 rebounds per game.
Previously, Kostas Antetokounmpo also played for ASVEL and Fenerbahce in the EuroLeague, while spending time between the NBA and G-League with the Dallas Mavericks and Texas Legends, the Los Angeles Lakers and South Bay Lakers, and ultimately the Windy City Bulls in 2022.
