Following the earlier arrivals of Aleksa Avramovic, Keman Kamenjas, Dzanan Musa, and McKinley Wright IV, Dubai officially added Mouhammadou Jaiteh on Monday.

The 30-year-old French center brings in the experience of 99 EuroLeague appearances to the newcomers in Europe’s premier club continental competition. Last season, he tallied 7.5 points, 4.0 rebounds, 0.6 assists, 0.5 steals, and 0.3 blocks per contest over 31 games with AS Monaco.

With La Roca team over the last two years, Jaiteh was crowned Betclic Elite champion in 2024. A previous stint with Virtus Segafredo Bologna, between 2021 and 2023, featured a 7DAYS EuroCup championship, accompanied by the title of Most Valuable Player of the 2021-22 season. The next challenge is with the team based in the most populous city of the United Arab Emirates.

Before introducing himself to the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague, the native of Pantin earned his first opportunity in the top-flight division of France with Nanterre 92 in 2013 and helped his side win the 2014-15 edition of the EuroChallenge. From the next stops with SIG Strasbourg and Limoges CSP, his career expanded to Italy with FIAT Torino, Russia with Avtodor, and Turkiye with Empera Hali Gaziantep.

Beyond several teams at the club level, Jaiteh also represents France internationally. His experience with the senior national team is headlined by a bronze medal in the EuroBasket 2015. He went on to suit up in the Qualifiers of the 2019 and 2023 installments of the FIBA World Cup.
