Taking off in Varese in 2012-13 and already returning to Italy in the 2023-24 season with Virtus Bologna, Bryant Dunston has found an agreement to come back playing with an Italian side.
According to Eurohoops sources, a return to the Mediterranean country is substantially done for the 39-year-old veteran, who’s now set to join Milan on a one-year deal.
Bryant Dunston would bring a huge amount of experience to the table, helping out younger teammates on Ettore Messina’s team.
In the 2024-25 campaign, the two-time Euroleague Defensive Player of the Year played with Zalgiris, winning the Lithuanian championship against Rytas Vilnius.
In the past few days, Panathinaikos showed concrete interest in the veteran, aiming to put back together Bryant Dunston and head coach Ergin Ataman, already together in Efes.
Alessandro Maggi from Sportando was the first to report both on Milan’s interest and on the deal being ultimately completed between the two sides.
