Confirming a Eurohoops report about an agreement with EA7 Emporio Armani Milan, Bryant Dunston officially joined Scarpette Rosse on a one-year contract.
The deal was announced on Friday.
“I’m super excited to join Olimpia Milano. I see it as a great new chapter in my journey,” said the 39-year-old American-born naturalized Armenian center, “I can’t wait to meet all the guys and start the new season.”
The sixth offseason addition to the team coached by Ettore Messina, following Devin Booker, Lorenzo Brown, Vlatko Cancar, Quinn Ellis and Marko Guduric, is a veteran of 364 games in the EuroLeague. His long run is highlighted by back-to-back championships with Anadolu Efes in the 2020-21 and 2021-22 seasons. He also played for Olympiacos, Virtus Segafredo Bologna, and, most recently, Zalgiris, averaging 4.1 points, 3.3 rebounds, 0.9 assists, 0.5 steals, and 0.5 blocks per contest over 34 appearances, including 16 starts, in the 2024-25 season.
Besides a 13th campaign in Europe’s premier club continental competitions, Dunston will return to Italy’s LBA UnipolSai, following spells with Virtus Bologna in the 2023-24 journey and Cimberio Varese in the 2012-13 journey. Earlier in his career, he played for Hapoel Unet Holon and Eshet tours Bnei HaSharon in Israel, and Aris in Greece. His first stop after coming out of Fordham in 2008 was in the Korean Basketball League with Ulsan Mobis Phoebus.
Beyond the club level, the New York native had a brief international career, representing Armenia in the FIBA European Championship for Small Countries 2016.
