Filip Petrusev has completed his move to EuroLeague newcomer Dubai Basketball, his now former club Olympiacos Piraeus announced.
Olympiacos is receiving a buyout since Petrusev was bound to a contract with the Greek side until 2026.
After beginning the 2024-25 season with Olympiacos, Petrusev was loaned to Crvena Zvezda in his native Serbia in October. The 25-year-old big man averaged a team-high 14.1 points, 4.9 rebounds and 1.7 assists with Red Star in the EuroLeague, along with 13.6 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.6 assists in the ABA League.
Petrusev joined Olympiacos in November 2023 following a brief NBA stint of three games with the Philadelphia 76ers and the Sacramento Kings.
Dubai will be having their first ever run in the EuroLeague next season while still competing in the EuroLeague. The team has made multiple notable signings this summer, such as Dzanan Musa, Justin Anderson, Dwayne Bacon, Aleksa Avramovic and Mfiondou Gabengele, among others.
