Evan Fournier is dealing with inflammation and pain in his left foot, making him questionable to suit up versus Dubai on Friday and Panathinaikos Aktor on Sunday.
Both upcoming meetings, in Round 3 of the EuroLeague Regular Season and Round 2 of Greece’s Stoiximan GBL Regular Season, will be played in the Peace and Friendship Stadium.
The 32-year-old French winger was previously ruled out for the opening round of the domestic league, with the team coached by Giorgos Bartzokas strolling past Maroussi on Sunday. Earlier last week, he started his second EuroLeague campaign by putting up 12.0 points, 3.5 assists, 2.0 rebounds, and 1.0 assists per contest over two away games opposite Baskonia and Real Madrid. The Reds returned from Spain with a 1-1 record.
Depending on possible progress over the next few days, with team practice resuming on Wednesday, Fournier can be ultimately medically cleared to return to action. In contrast, Keenan Evans, nursing a right knee injury, and Moustapha Fall, expected to be sidelined for the entire season due to a left knee injury, will remain unavailable.
On the opposite side of the Round 3 fixture in Europe’s premier club continental competition, Dubai is expected to miss Danilo Andjusic, Aleksa Avramovic, Mouhammadou Jaiteh, Nate Mason, and Dzanan Musa due to injuries.
Beyond the next EuroLeague challenge, the first Derby of the Eternal Enemies on the 2025-26 schedule follows in SEF on Sunday. At 1-0 after a winning start, the rivals are currently tied with four more teams at the top of the GBL standings.
