Evan Fournier has been confirmed as out by Olympiacos for the game against Anadolu Efes in the Peace and Friendship Stadium on Tuesday.

The 32-year-old guard/forward has been dealing with an injury, forcing him to miss recent continental and domestic fixtures, including last Sunday’s meeting with archrival Panathinaikos Aktor in Round 2 of the Stoiximan GBL Regular Season.

Before being forced to the injury list, Fournier started his second journey in Europe’s premier club continental competition with 12.0 points, 3.5 assists, 2.0 rebounds, and 1.0 steals per contest over two appearances. Last season, he tallied 16.1 points, 2.6 assists, 2.2 rebounds, and 1.1 steals per game.

Shaquielle McKissic, Keenan Evans, and Thomas Walkup are also sidelined for the team coached by Giorgos Bartzokas, besides Moustapha Fall being expected to sit out for the entire 2025-26 journey due to a ruptured patellar tendon in his left knee.

For Efes, Vincent Poirier, in knee surgery rehab, is the only missing player for head coach Igor Kokoskov. Captain Shane Larkin will play through an illness, and PJ Dozier Jr. was cleared from an injury in his left hand.

Entering the second double-game week of the ongoing EuroLeague Regular Season, the Reds sit 2-1, one win over tonight’s opponent in SEF.

Switching to Round 5 at the bottom half of the two-game continental schedule, Olympiacos will face Maccabi Rapyd Tel Aviv in Belgrade’s Aleksandar Nikolic Hall on Thursday, and Efes will welcome Panathinaikos in Istanbul’s Turkcell Basketball Development Center on Friday.

Other notable absences

In addition to Olympiacos‘ superstar, many other player will -at least- miss the fourth round. Talen Horton-Tucker will not be available against Dubai, just like his fellow teammates Brandon Boston and Armando Bacot, who have been ruled out for Round 4.

Crvena Zvezda has seven players out for its game against Zalgiris on Tuesday: Tyson Carter, Jasiel Rivero, Isaiah Canaan, Devonte’ Graham, Uros Plavsic, Ognjen Dobric and Joel Bolomboy.

Zach LeDay, Josh Nebo, Vlatko Cancar and Leonardo Tote’ are all out for Milan’s game at Bayern on Tuesday, the club has confirmed.
