Markus Howard and Trent Forrest will be unavailable for Baskonia over the next games in the EuroLeague and Spain’s Liga Endesa due to injuries.
The team based in Vitoria-Gasteiz officially updated their status on Friday.
In Round 4 of the 2025-26 EuroLeague Regular Season, opposite Paris in Adidas Arena on Wednesday, the 26-year-old New Jersey native picked up an injury in a finger in his left hand, and the 27-year-old Alabama native suffered a left hamstring injury. Following further medical evaluation on Friday morning, both players were placed on the injury list for the next few weeks.
Over four appearances in his fourth EuroLeague journey, Howard averaged 7.0 points, 2.0 assists, and 1.0 steals per contest. In the first four showings of his second season, Forrest had 11.5 points, 5.8 assists, and 4.8 rebounds per contest.
Heading to the Round 5 fixture against Partizan Mozzart Bet in Fernando Buesa Arena later Friday evening, Rodions Kurucs will remain sidelined for Baskonia due to a foot injury. The 27-year-old Latvian forward is considered likely to return to action earlier than his aforementioned American teammates.
All remaining players are available for head coach Paolo Galbiati. As for the team coached by Zeljko Obradovic, Shake Milton, who is nursing an ankle injury in Belgrade, and Mario Nakic, who is in knee surgery rehab, remain out at the bottom end of a double-game week.
At 0-4, Baskonia is the only winless team in the new EuroLeague season. Partizan sits at 2-2.
