As previously reported, Nick Calathes has left Monaco to join Partizan Belgrade.
The French club thanked him for his services and wished him all the best in the continuation of his career, which he will now pursue with Partizan.
The Serbian team also confirmed the signing, announcing that Calathes will once again reunite with Željko Obradović, with whom he worked from 2009 to 2012 at Panathinaikos, winning the 2011 EuroLeague championship.
Calathes now moves to Belgrade, where he is expected to help Partizan fill the backcourt gap following Carlik Jones’ injury.
The experienced guard had not played for Monaco in the EuroLeague this season and appeared in only three LNB Pro A games, averaging less than 12 minutes on the court and dishing out 3.7 assists per game.
