Zalgiris‘ playmaker Sylvain Francisco is currently one of the best players in Europe, which the Frenchman could capitalize on.
The leader of the team from Kaunas, which is vying for a EuroLeague playoff or play-in spot, has attracted the attention of numerous EuroLeague clubs, but he might continue his career elsewhere.
Francisco’s main goal is to secure an NBA contract this summer, and he has that option in his clause with Zalgiris.
Sylvain has been in the public spotlight in recent weeks, primarily due to being linked with Barcelona, as well as other EuroLeague teams.
The player himself denied that there’s any kind of deal between him and Barcelona, while he also confirmed that he knows there’s interest from Olympiacos and Panathinaikos in an interview with the Greek EuroLeague rights-holders “NOVA TV”.
Meanwhile, he also changed represantation moving to the Network Sports International agency.
