According to Meridian Sport, Sterling Brown is leaving Partizan and moving to Zalgiris Kaunas.
The same portal reports that the Lithuanians will pay Partizan a compensation fee, as Brown had a contract for the next season.
After Sylvain Francisco’s departure, Zalgiris has turned to strengthening their team, with Saben Lee already joining, and now Sterling Brown heading to Lithuania. Carsen Edwards is also close to Kaunas.
The guard, who averaged 13.7 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 2.3 assists in the EuroLeague, and 10.7 points, 2.5 rebounds, and the same number of assists in the ABA League, had a contract with Partizan until the end of the next season.
Sterling began his career with the Milwaukee Bucks and also played in the NBA for the Dallas Mavericks, Houston Rockets, and Los Angeles Lakers. Before Partizan, he also played in Europe for ALBA Berlin.
