Armoni Brooks officially joined LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne on Friday. Bolstering their roster with significant EuroLeague and NBA experience, the French side penned the 1.94-meter playmaker to a two-year deal ahead of the 2026–27 season.
Brooks arrives from EA7 Emporio Armani Milan, where he earned Most Valuable Player honors in Italy’s LBA UnipolSai and Frecciarossa Final Eight during the 2025–26 season. A premier shooter who averaged 13.1 points on 41.6% three-point shooting in last season’s EuroLeague, he represents a major offensive addition for head coach Tony Parker.
The 28-year-old backcourt weapon had previously confirmed his move to the French EuroLeague club, marking a major milestone in the team’s offseason strategy.

The Houston product spent two successful seasons at Milan. During his spectacular second year in Italy, he proved unstoppable by posting 16.0 points per game domestically to secure the Dino Meneghin Trophy.
His outside shooting reached historic levels as he became one of only four players to sink at least 100 three-pointers in a single EuroLeague campaign. This dramatic jump from his 7.6-point average in his debut year highlights the elite scoring threat he brings to France.
Before launching his European career, he played in the G League with the College Park Skyhawks and Rio Grande Valley Vipers. He subsequently advanced to the NBA, enjoying stints with the Houston Rockets, Toronto Raptors, and Brooklyn Nets, alongside assignments with the Long Island Nets and Ontario Clippers.
Playing under new head coach Parker, Brooks links up with fellow newcomers Sylvain Francisco and Nick Weiler-Babb to form a formidable new core.
