Fenerbahce has reached a new agreement with Talen Horton-Tucker, extending his contract until the end of the 2026-27 season.
After announcing the extension of Nicolo Melli’s contract for another two seasons earlier in the day, Fenerbahce management delighted their fans once again.
The 26-year-old American guard played in 41 EuroLeague games during his first season, averaging 15.7 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 2.2 assists.
With his performance, Horton-Tucker was selected for the All-EuroLeague Second Team. In the 2025-26 Turkey Basketball Super League season, he played in 31 games, averaging 13.2 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 3.0 assists.
After playing his entire career in the NBA, first for the Los Angeles Lakers, then for the Chicago Bulls and Utah Jazz, Fenerbahçe is the first European club in Horton-Tucker’s career.
He adapted excellently in his first season, and there is no doubt that the Istanbul giant will have the highest ambitions in the next season as well.
Chris Silva also extends with Fenerbahce
Alongside Horton-Tucker, Fenerbahçe has also extended the contract of Chris Silva, who joined the club during the season from AEK Athens.
Chris Silva averaged 4.4 points and 1.7 rebounds in 16 EuroLeague games in the 2025-26 season.
This is Fenerbahce’s statement:
“Our Fenerbahçe men’s basketball team has reached a new 1+1-year agreement with our player Chris Silva, who joined our roster in January and played a part in the successes we achieved in the 2025-26 season.
During his time wearing our striped jersey, Chris Silva stood out with his potential, athleticism, and effectiveness in the paint, and he will fight for our team’s success until the end of the 2027-28 season.
We wish for this agreement to be beneficial for our club and Chris Silva, and we wish our player many successes in our striped jersey.”
