The dismantling of the 2025-26 version of Barcelona continues with Toko Shengelia also moving to Dubai.
According to Spanish media “Encestando” the Georgian forward has also decided to leave Barcelona, as head coach Xavi Pascual did, with Dubai being their destination.
According to the report, Shengelia will pay 900.000 euros to buy out his contract and join an ambitious project which aims to make it at least to the Final Four.
Despite being 35-year-old Shengelia remains one of the top power forwards in Europe, and many more contenders were rumored to be interested in him.
The connection with coach Pascual obviously played a big real on his decision, since during their short collaboration in Barcelona they had the chance to learn each other better.
