The Dallas Mavericks, Philadelphia 76ers and Brooklyn Nets has “expressed an interest” for Jan Vesely, according to Basketball Insiders.

If any of those teams wants to acquire him they will have to pay a €1 million buy-out to Fenerbahce according to a term in the contract Vesely signed last year with the Turkish team.

In the previous summer, the Czech forward/center pursued opportunities to return to the NBA, where he previously played from 2011 to 2014, before agreeing to a new deal with Fenerbahce that made him one of the highest-paid players in Europe.

His ambition of getting another chance in the best league in the planet is still there, hence the related clause in his contract.

Vesely, 27, previously played in the NBA for the Washington Wizards and the Denver Nuggets before coming back to Europe for Fenerbahce with which he won the EuroLeague title this season.
