Quincy Miller had signed a two-year deal with Brose Bamberg and today, the German League champions made the transfer official.

The related announcement by EuroLeague Basketball is as follows:

“German champion Brose Bamberg signed forward Quincy Miller for the coming season. The contract also includes an option for an additional season. Miller (2.06 meters, 25 years old) comes off an injury-plagued season with Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv. He suffered a knee injury over the summer, which limited him to just four Turkish Airlines EuroLeague games last season. Miller averaged 7.0 points, 3.3 rebounds and 0.8 blocks in those games. The season before, Miller was a 2015-16 All-EuroLeague Second Team selection after posting 14.1 points, 5.7 rebounds and 1.5 blocked shots in leading Crvena Zvezda Belgrade to the playoffs. He played a big role in helping Zvezda lift the Adriatic League and Serbian League titles, too. Before arriving to Zvezda, Miller played three professional seasons in his native United States with Denver, Sacramento and Detroit of the NBA, as well as with D-League sides Iowa, Reno and Grand Rapids.

“I know Darius Miller, I played with him,” Quincy Miller said. “He advised me to come here, because you can improve. We have one of the best European coaches here with Andrea Trinchieri. He is a basketball expert. And he is strict, which I need once in a while. Someone who will kick me in the butt. I already played with Luka Mitrovic in Belgrade. I think I can quickly integrate myself and feel comfortable. If I had to describe myself in three key words, that would be: passion, enthusiasm and efficiency.”‎
