Following the Israeli Anti-Doping’s Board appeal for Sonny Weems’ signing to Efes, Eurohoops’ sources mention that the Turkish side still has not sent the official documentation in order for the player to be registered in EuroLeague.
Efes can proceed with the paperwork up until Wednesday (February 28). For this to happen, the team has to send Weems’ letter of clearance which is subjected to FIBA/WADA for each and every player.
That being said, it’s still not clear whether the player will be able to play in EuroLeague or not.
