Weems was registered today on the last day of the transactions. His letter of clearance was received and it doesn’t include any FIBA or WADA ban, despite the announcements made in Israel.
Considering the fact that Weems already played this season in the Chinese CBA, this can’t be considered a surprise. However, it also appears that the ban which was imposed on him until 2021 is not valid at least in the present moment.
