The ‘week from hell’ that was completed left us with mixed feelings since there was a significant rise in the overall rankings (1472nd place) but the changes for Round 28 didn’t help much.

Now, we have ahead of us the penultimate lap of the regular season and motivation of the teams will greatly influence our choices.

The moves ahead of Round 29

Panathinaikos will try to win 2 out of 2 in the remaining rounds in order to compete for the home court advantage to the end. This means that, aside from Nick Calathes, who is already on the roster, Chris Singleton will be added as Anthony Gill’s replacement.

The second change concerns Facundo Campazzo. Real may be burning for the win against Crvena Zvezda, but Doncic’s return will have a negative effect on the Argentinian’s playing time and allocated attempts. Therefore, Bryant Dunston will take his place. Efes are hosting Barcelona and the American can dominate both keys so they can close out the season at home in an ideal way.

Finally, Nikola Milutinov will find himself on the roster in place of Arturas Gudaitis, as Olympiacos are looking for a win in Malaga with the aim of locking in 3rd place and aiming higher in the final round.

The captain for another week will be Alexey Shved in the must-win game against Fenerbahce.
