Zalgiris Kaunas played very focused on defense and won against Lietuvos Rytas Vilnius in the Lithuanian League. After praising his team for the good performance (especially in defense) but also noting the mistakes they might repeat in the future games, coach Sarunas Jasikevicius also commented on the trouble EuroLeague is having with his former club Panathinaikos:

“I can’t imagine Euroleague without PAO and Giannakopoulos family. It’s very important team for me. Probably, the most important in my career abroad. I don’t want them to leave Euroleague.”, Sharras said after the game.
