Ioannis Sfairopoulos will not re-sign with Olympiacos Piraeus, as the Greek team has already found a replacement for coach Sfairopoulos, and that is no other than David Blatt.

On Tuesday, with an official announcement, Olympiacos thanks coach Sfairopoulos for his presence and success over the years he was with the team, as did the Greek coach, who thanked the owners and the team.

Olympiacos‘ owners, Panagiotis and Georgios Aggelopoulos wrote the following about the 52-year old coach: “Four years of collaboration with an honest man, and a great professional, who every day did his best for Olympiacos. Alongside coach Sfairopoulos, we shared magical and historical moments that are unforgettable. We thank you for everything and wish you success.”
