Jordan Mickey posted a double-double of 16 points and 11 rebounds Real Madrid beat Spanish Second Division club Oviedo 73 – 68 in the “Torneo Ciudad de Oviedo” tournament. The “Blancos” will face Baskonia in the final.
Baskonia defeated Obras Basket 71 – 59 earlier.
Maccabi Tel Aviv downed Strasbourg 82 – 72 in France behind Tyler Dorsey’s 20 points. In Piraeus, Greece, Errick McCollum scored 20 points to lead Unics Kazan to a 67 – 62 win over Olympiacos, in a game that was held behind closed doors.
Vassilis Spanoulis notched 13 points for the Reds.
Panathinaikos rout fellow Greek club Peristeri 111 – 91. DeShaun Thomas paced the winning side with 24 points. Steven Gray had 24 points as well for Peristeri.
