The BSL started with a bang as Fenerbahce was defeated by Usak, however every other big team managed to get their first win.

Anadolu Efes, Dogus Darussafaka and Galatasaray prevailed, Besiktas proved at Ankara that this season they will try to achieve something noteworthy and Banvit dominated Karsiyaka on the road, as the former champs are not the team they used to be.

It has to be noted that due to the six foreigners limitations some teams are not able to use their full roster in BSL. Anadolu Efes played without Thomas Heurtel and Tyler Honeycutt, Galatasaray didn’t have Blake Schilb, Justin Dentmon and Deon Thompson available, while Dogus Darussafaka couldn’t use Dairis Bertans and Marcus Slaughter. All those players will be used in Euroleague where there’s no limitations due to passports.
