Steph Curry’s 40-point performance and a 24-point lead in the second half was not enough, as Memphis got the 128-119 overtime win on the road against Golden State.

Spaniard Marc Gasol with 23 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists, together with Mike Conley and Tony Allen turn things around and shocked the team with the best record in the league.

Two nights after losing to the Bucks on a last-second shot at home, the New York Knicks rallied late in the rematch and stunned Milwaukee. Carmelo Anthony had 26 points and 10 assists, including a clutch 3-pointer in the fourth quarter, and the Knicks stormed back from 18 down to beat the Bucks 116-111 and stop their six-game losing streak.

Latvian Kristaps Porzingis returned from a three-game absence due to a sore left Achilles tendon and added 24 points for the Knicks on the duel with Greek star Giannis Antetokounmpo who had 25 points. Bosnian Mirza Teletovic added 11 points for the losing side, while for the Knicks French Joakim Noah (8 p. 9 r.) and Lithuanian Mindaugas Kuzminskas (7 p.) were also positives.

In Los Angeles, Slovenian Goran Dragic and Jordan Clarkson repeatedly collided while they fought for position with increasingly bad intentions. Clarkson finally knocked down Dragic with a shove, both of them were ejected and Britain’s Luol Deng with 19 points and 14 rebounds led the Lakers in their fourth victory in 20 games, 127-100 over Miami. Dragic scored 16 points before getting tossed, Russian Timofey Mozgov added 5 points for the winners and Spaniard Jose Calderon had 2 rebounds.

The Wizards beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 112-105 as Polish center Marcin Gortat hit all nine of his field-goal attempts and scored 19 points. He also had 10 rebounds and 1 assist. For the losing side Spaniard Ricky Rubio (4 p. 5 r. 7 as.) and Serb Nemanja Bjelica (5 p.) couldn’t change the final outcome.  Here’s the rest of last night’s results and the euro-scorers.
