The Spurs set several season highs in rolling past Los Angeles 134-94. Spanish star Pau Gasol had 22 points, nine rebounds and six assists in 26 minutes for the Spurs. Gasol finished 9 for 9 from the field and was 4 for 5 on free throws. French icon Tony Parker added 13 points and 6 rebounds, while Latvian Davis Bertans had 5 points. British Luol Deng had 3 points for the Lakers, Russian Timofey Mozgov 2 rebounds and Croatian Ivica Zubac 8 points.
Carmelo Anthony had 23 points, nine rebounds and six assists, Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah had big games against Chicago, and the Knicks beat the short-handed Bulls 104-89. The French big man finished with 12 points and 15 rebounds as the Knicks snapped a three-game losing streak.
Lithuanian rookie forward Mindaugas Kuzminskas had a season-high 19 points for the winners. The Bulls, were missing star swingman Jimmy Butler, Spaniard Nikola Mirotic and Denzel Valentine, all because of illness. German rookie Paul Zipser scored 7 points and had 5 rebounds, as a starter. For the Knicks, Latvian sensation Kristaps Porzingis was out.
The great German Dirk Nowitzki scored 18 for the Mavericks, who broke a three-game losing streak after beating 113-108 the Suns despite 39 points by Devin Booker. Ukrainian Alex Len had 7 points and 3 rebounds for the losing side.
In London Denver beat the Pacers, New Orleans prevailed over Brooklyn 104-95 (Asik 1 r., Motiejunas 1 p. 3 r. 3 as., Ajinca 1 r. – Bogdanovic 10 p.) and the Warriors got the 127-107 win over the Pistons (Pachulia 7 p. 5 r. – Udrih 4 p., Marjanovic 13 p. 11 r.)
