After six years in the NBA, Rondae Hollis-Jefferson has penned a deal with Besiktas for his first stint in Europe

Besiktas Icrypex has signed Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, according to Jonathan Givony, as was informed by the player’s agent. The contract includes an NBA out clause.

The 26-year old played 319 NBA games since being drafted in 2015. He spent four years with the Brooklyn Nets after which he had stints with the Toronto Raptors and the Portland Trail Blazers.

He played 11 regular-season and five playoff games for the Balzers this year. His best season was 2017-18 with the Nets when he posted 13.9 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game.

This will be Hollis-Jefferson’s first stint in Europe and he will debut with Besiktas in the Turkish League as well as the Basketball Champions League. The team competes in Group H of BCL against reigning defending champs San Pablo Burgos, Rytas, and EWE Baskets Oldenburg.
