Nearing a 40-point separation down the stretch, JDA Dijon settled below the mark on Tuesday.

The 104-67 victory against Opava improved La Jeanne to 2-0 in Group B of the Basketball Champions League Regular Season.

Congolese Giovan Oniangue and Bosnian Aleksandar Lazic shared a game-high 17 points in one-way traffic marking the Gameday 2 contest in Hala Opava. Cameron Hunt chipped in 16 points. Gregor Hrovat produced 14 points, five steals, four rebounds, three assists, and one block en route to a game-high efficiency rating of 21.

Three more players scored in double-digits for Dijon. Allan Dokossi was the nearest to a double-double with 12 points and nine assists. David Holston and Robin Ducote added ten points apiece.

The Czechia champions suffered a second straight defeat by a large margin in the Champions League. Besides dropping to 0-2 at the continental level, the fifth loss in a row across all competitions spreads into the 6-3 tally in the domestic NBL.

Head coach Petr Czudek saw Jan Svandrlik and Adam Pechacek sharing a team-high 14 points against the French club. Experienced forward Filip Zbranek was among the players staying on the injury list.

Dropping to 3-6 in France’s Betclic Elite on Saturday was met with a lopsided victory for the team coached by Nenad Markovic. Picking up a hamstring injury in the home loss to JL Bourg, Vitalis Chikoko was sidelined versus Opava. Also, Dylan Affo Mama moved to Elan Bearnais Pau-Lacq-Orthez on Monday.
