Alley-oops emerged as the main theme, but first place in the Weekly Top 5 of the Basketball Champions League presented by Lubelskie was reserved for Speedy Smith.

The explosive guard of Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem decided the winner as time ran out in overtime, pushing Peristeri bwin and head coach Vassilis Spanoulis to a home loss in Gameday 1 of the Round of 16. His game-winner overshadowed the remaining highlights.

Ranking second was Errick McCollum. A no-look assist set up an off-balance bucket by Deniz Kilicli. However, Pinar Karsiyaka was outlasted by Lenovo Tenerife in overtime.

Justin Smith completing a spectacular connection with C.J. Harris settled third but was not enough for Hapoel Holon against UCAM Murcia in Palacio de los Deportes.

In the fourth spot, the Top 5 returned to Greece with Peristeri’s floor general Joe Ragland dialing in a dunk for Trevor Thompson.

More alley-oop action saw Yankuba Sima receiving from Tyson Carter as Unicaja made short work of Tofas.
