After finishing the 2024-25 Basketball Champions League season with the silver medal around his neck, James Palmer Jr. will aim to compete once again for the biggest prize.
As officially announced by Galatasaray, the American forward has extended his contract for one more season with the red-and-yellow team.
He’s the second American player confirming to stay in Istanbul following Will Cummings, and at the same time, the club has secured several important arrivals.

Galatasaray has indeed announced the return of Errick McCollum, who’s coming from a triumphant season in Fenerbahce, and the signings of both Jerome Robinson and Christian Bishop.
At the same time, the Turkish club has said goodbye to Ebuka Izundu, Rob Gray, Otis Livingston, Angel Delgado, Tyrone Wallace, Michael Young, and Roberts Blumbergs, among others.
James Palmer Jr. was one of the most interesting players to watch in the whole 2024-25 campaign in the Basketball Champions League, putting up 14.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 3.9 assists.
