Gran Canaria started the match better, winning the first quarter (20-14), but the visitors managed to turn the game around. The decision came in the fourth quarter, which Nymburk won 31-19, securing their advancement.
In the end, Tenerife finished first in Group L with a 4-2 record, Nymburk was second with 3-3, the same record as third-placed Gran Canaria, while Trieste finished fourth with a 2-4 record.
