ERA Nymburk has bolstered its roster for the end of the 2025-26 season, officially signing 24-year-old power forward David Bohm. The Czech international joins coach Oren Amiel’s squad just in time for a key stretch, headlined by the Basketball Champions League Season X, powered by Ameresco SUNEL Quarterfinals.

Bohm arrives from Slavia Prague, where he has been a dominant force in Czechia’s Maxa NBL. Averaging 17.3 points and 7.8 rebounds, ranking as the league’s sixth-best scorer and second-best rebounder. His standout 2025–2026 campaign included a career-high scoring performance of 30 points in January, cementing his status as a premier domestic talent following stints in Spain and Germany.

A 6’9″ versatile forward, he developed his game in the United States, playing for Northern Kentucky, where he earned Horizon League Freshman of the Week honors, before finishing his collegiate career at Eastern Washington in 2023. At the international level, he has been a fixture for the Czech national team since his youth, including an All-Star Five selection at the 2019 FIBA U18 European Championship Division B.

The transfer moved at a lightning pace. “It all happened yesterday,” Bohm noted after his first practice on Friday. “The intensity here was definitely a bit different, but I’m really happy to fight with the guys.”

Currently leading the domestic standings at 28-4, Nymburk now shifts focus to the European stage. Bohm’s new side travels to Active Vilnius Arena this Wednesday to face Rytas in Game 1 of a best-of-three series. “This will be my first game in the Champions League,” he said. “At the club level, it will be the most prestigious game. That’s why I do basketball.”
