AEK Athens signed the 24-year-old Xavier Rathan-Mayes, the club announced.
After not being selected in the 2017 NBA Draft the Canadian guard signed with the New York Knicks a non guaranteed contract and he was waived after appearing only in preseason games.
On March 5 2018, Rathan-Mayes signed a 10-day contract with the Memphis Grizzlies and in his NBA debut posted eight points, five assists, two rebounds and two steals in 25 minutes against San Antonio Spurs.
He played the 2018 Las Vegas Summer League with Los Angeles Lakers averaging 8.9 points, 3.7 assists and 2.3 rebounds.
