JDA Dijon got back on the Basketball Champions League win column with an impressive performance against Montakit Fuenlabrada.

The Pabellon Fernando Martin advantage wasn’t enough for Fuenlabrada against Dijon that grabbed a 73-59 victory in Spain. The visitors blew out the Basketball Champions League Group C Regular Season Round 10 with a 16-0 run in the third period.

Laurent Legname’s team not only brought its BCL record up to 3-7, but allowed AEK to secure a spot in the Playoffs despite its loss in Germany to Brose Bamberg.

David Holston notched a game-high 14 points, also dished five helpers and grabbed three rebounds. Alexandre Chassang, Abdoulaye Loum, Axel Julien and Gavin Ware all scored ten points adding to the Spaniards worries.

Marc Garcia put up 13 points, but was the only double-digit player from the losing side. Nestor Garcia’s club dropped to 3-7 with its seventh straight defeat and even lost the tiebreaking advantage over the French team.
