Patrick Beverley arrived in Thessaloniki to complete his move to PAOK, pending medical examinations.

The 37-year-old American guard is therefore on the verge of completing the move to Stoiximan GBL and the FIBA Europe Cup.

The news confirms earlier reports that Beverley was a target for the club, after his name was spotted on a list linked to PAOK’s new owner, Greek billionaire Telis Mystakidis, alongside Bryn Tyree and Timmy Allen, who have both officially joined the team.

A former Olympiacos player (2009–10), Beverley brings extensive NBA experience, having played for the Rockets, Clippers, Timberwolves, Lakers, Bulls, 76ers, and Bucks. He last played in Europe with Hapoel Tel Aviv under coach Dimitris Itoudis.

If medicals are cleared, Beverley will be a major addition to Jure Zdovc’s roster for domestic and European competition and one more proof that under Mystakidis, the historic Greek club, which in the past has won the Saporta Cup and the Korac Cup, is aiming to revive past glories.
