On Wednesday, February 25, Sylvain Francisco led Zalgiris to a thrilling double-overtime win over Olympiacos in Kaunas during Round 29 of the EuroLeague.
Just two days later, he donned the French national team jersey 1,200 kilometers away in Szombathely, Hungary, and hit the game-winning three-pointer as Les Bleus defeated the hosts 74–71.
Francisco launched the shot from the right side of the court with two seconds remaining, giving France the lead. Hungary had no time to respond, and Adam Somogyi’s buzzer-beater attempt from long distance missed the target.

Amine Noua led the French side with 15 points and six rebounds, while Amath Mbaye added 13 and Benjamin Sene contributed 12.
For Hungary, Zoltan Perl stood out with 21 points, followed by Zsombor Maronka with 17.
