Lenzelle Smith Jr. posted a double-double of 22 points and 10 rebounds as Kymi beat PAOK 88 – 85 in the last game of Day 16 in the Greek League.
It was an intense match until the very end. Kymi emerged victorious after taking an 83 – 78 lead with 1:32 left and then being accurate enough from the free throw line to repel PAOK.
Antonis Koniaris had 15 points for PAOK.
Both league powerhouses proceeded with victories this week. Panathinaikos routed Faros in the presence of Mike James and… Giannis Bourousis while Olympiacos defeated Trikala thanks to a powerful performance by MVP of the Week Nikola Milutinov.
