The Chicago Bulls and the Los Angeles Clippers got the road wins. The Bulls advanced with 4-2 wins over the young Bucks, while the Clippers forced a game 7 against the defending champions San Antonio Spurs.

There was tension in Milwaukee on the way to the blow out 120-66 win. The Bulls before meeting up with the Cavs in the East semifinals dominated the Bucks, getting a double double by Joakim Noah (10 p., 11 r.), a good game by Pau Gasol (19 p., 8 r.) and 2 points by Nikola Mirotic who earlier in the day learned that he came second in the voting for the rookie of the year award, behind Andrew Wiggins. No player from the Bucks scored in double digits and the frustration was obvious, specially in this incident which got Giannis Antetokounmpo ejected.

At San Antonio the Clippers prevailed (102-96), despite 23 points by Marco Belinelli and 17 by Boris Diaw off the bench. Tony Parker had 8 points and 7 assists. Blake Griffin had 26 points, 12 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 blocks for the winners.
