The Sacramento Kings finished their 2019-20 season with a 136-122 win against the Los Angeles Lakers who await their opponent coming from the play-in for the eighth seed.

De’Aaron Fox didn’t suit up for this game but Buddy Hield and Bogdan Bogdanovic stepped up in his stead with 28 and 27 points respectively. Bogdanovic also dished nine assists and grabbed six rebounds.

Another Serbian in the Kings roster had a strong all-around performance as Nemanja Bjelica logged 15 points, 13 boards and eight rebounds.

For the Lakers, Dion Waiters scored 19 in addition to LeBron James’ 17 and Talen Horton-Tucker’14 points. Markieff Morris also scored 14 while it should be noted that Anthony Davis sat out for the LA squad.

Earlier, the Washington Wizards registered their first win in the bubble, beating the Boston Celtics 96-90.

Thomas Bryant led the way with 26 points and nine rebounds while shooting 10-15 from the field. Troy Brown added 17 and Ish Smith 11 points. Johnathan Williams logged five points but also grabbed 16 rebounds.

For the Celtics, which practically played without a B squad, Javonte Green scored 23 in addition to Semi Ojeleye’s 13 points.

Boston gave some rest to Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, Marcus Smart, Kemba Walker, Gordon Hayward, and Daniel Theis.

As the third seed in the Eastern Conference, the Celtics will clash against the sixth-seeded Philadelphia 76ers in the playoffs.
