Damian Lillard rightfully earns the MVP honors for his performances in the NBA bubble upon NBA’s return.

Damian Lillard has been appointed with the MVP honor for his performances with the Portland Trail Blazers in the NBA bubble, a few moments before the NBA play-in vs. Memphis Grizzlies begins.

Lillard averaged an NBA-high 37.6 points and 9.6 assists in the seeding games, leading Portland to a 6-2 record. The Trail Blazers won their final three seeding games, with Lillard scoring 51 points against the Philadelphia 76ers, tying the team’s scoring record with 61 points against the Dallas Mavericks, and posting 42 points and 12 assists in a victory over the Brooklyn Nets that helped Portland seal its spot in the Western Conference play-in.

Lillard was unanimously selected as the Kia NBA Player of the Seeding Games, receiving all 22 first-place votes for a total of 110 points, according to NBA’s announcement. Suns‘ Devin Booker (58 points) and Pacers‘ T.J. Warren (14 points) finished in second and third place, respectively.

Phoenix Suns‘ Monty Williams also earns the Award for Best Coach in the bubble, while NBA’s All-Bubble teams for seeding games are the following:
