Jayson Tatum is expected to enter quarantine according to health and safety protocols implemented due to the coronavirus pandemic, tweets Shams Charania of The Athletic. The Boston Celtics forward is projected to miss 10 to 14 days.

This adds to recent coronavirus-related developments including Jonas Valanciunas forced to leave the Memphis Grizzlies bench before halftime Friday evening versus the Brooklyn Nets due to contact tracing. Also, a positive COVID-19 test entered three players of the Dallas Mavericks into quarantine.

Philadelphia 76ers guard Seth Curry was found positive during Thursday’s game against the Brooklyn Nets while sidelined due to an ankle injury. His team is expected to be severely undermanned barely meeting the requirement of eight players suited for Saturday’s match opposite the Denver Nuggets scheduled to tip-off 21:00 CET.
