Luka Doncic and the Mavs look like they are infused with some new fire.

Luka Doncic scored a career-high-tying 42 points and dished out 11 assists, including one to Maxi Kleber for a win-sealing triple, as the Dallas Mavericks beat the Golden State Warriors 134  -132.

Doncic, who also had seven rebounds, won an outstanding duel vs. Steph Curry who dropped 57 points. “Curry and Doncic were spectacular. Both teams played with a lot of heart and a lot of joy. Great thing to see,” Mavericks coach Rick Carlisle said.

Kleber finished with 16 points and eight rebounds while Kristaps Porzingis posted 18 points and 10 rebounds.

Giannis Antetokounmpo had 24 points, 11 rebounds and five assists to lead the Milwaukee Bucks to a 124 – 99 rout over the Cleveland Cavaliers and the team’s fourth straight win.

Cedi Osman scored seven points in 15 minutes off the bench for the Cavs while Thanasis Antetokounmpo played four minutes and dropped two points.

Clint Capela (23 points, 16 rebounds, four blocks) dominated for the Atlanta Hawks in the 132 – 121 win over the Toronto Raptors. The Swiss big man made 10 out of his 13 attempts from the field.

Danilo Gallinari contributed 14 points and five rebounds to the Hawks‘ victory.

Dennis Schroder had his second straight 20+ game with 24 points plus eight assists as the Los Angeles Lakers captured their fourth consecutive win by downing the Detroit Pistons 135 – 129 after two overtimes.

Svi Mykhailiuk scored 11 points and grabbed six rebounds for the Pistons while Sekou Doumbouya had four points on 1-7 shots. Marc Gasol finished with five points.

In one of the first games of the night, Nikola Jokic scored a new career-high 50 points while becoming the first center with 50+ points and 10+ assists in the 3-point era in a Denver Nuggets loss to the Sacramento Kings.
