The Dallas Mavericks hadn’t won a game at home in nearly two weeks when they faced the Detroit Pistons Wednesday (21/4). Enter Luka Doncic and his 30 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists that led the Mavericks to a 127 – 117 win that snapped a four-game losing streak in American Airlines.

Kristaps Porzingis added 19 points and seven rebounds as Dallas bounced back to victories after two defeats in a row.

Nikola Jokic 25 points, nine rebounds and five assists for the Denver Nuggets in the 106 – 105 win over the Portland Trail Blazers. The Serbian center also drained to go-ahead free throw for the 104-103 with 1:25 left and then added another pair for the 106 – 103 with 40 seconds left.

Former EuroLeague star Facu Campazzo also produced one of his top games in his debut NBA season with 12 points on 4-5 triples plus five rebounds.

Enes Kanter finished with 11 points and Jusuf Nurkic had eight points (3-11 shots), seven rebounds and six assists for the Blazers.

Davis Bertans had 19 points and six rebounds as the Washington Wizards beat the Golden State Warriors 118 – 114 to capture their sixth straight win.

While the Wizards halted Steph Curry’s hot streak to get the victory, they lost rookie Deni Avdija to injury. The Israeli forward (nine points) hurt his ankle late in the first half and was reported by ESPN to have suffered a season-ending hairline fracture.

It was another day at the winning office for Rudy Gobert and the Utah Jazz against the Houston Rockets. The French center had 19 points plus 18 rebounds in 26 minutes as the Jazz blew out their opponents 122 – 89.

Bojan Bogdanovic contributed 14 points to the Jazz’s victory.

Neither Clint Capela’s monster double-double (20 points, 25 rebounds) nor Bogdan Bogdanovic’s scoring output (20 points) were enough for the Atlanta Hawks that fell to the New York Knicks 137 – 127.

Julius Randle inflicted most of the damage from the Knicks with 40 points plus 11 boards.
