The 2021-22 season is underway and NBA 2K22 is ready for its launch this Friday when basketball fans will have full access to the popular game.

Eurohoops brings you a glimpse into the latest edition, with the rankings of the Top 11 European players. The list starts with reigning NBA champion Giannis Antetokounmpo, alongside Nikola Jokic, and Luka Doncic, who are also included in the overall Top 20 of the game.

Check out the rankings of the Top 11 European players below and the comparison with NBA 2K21’s rankings:

  1. Giannis Antetokounmpo – 96

2K21 Rating: 97

It’s only natural that the finals MVP and NBA champion gets to be among the top players of the game. Anything else would have been puzzling.

2. Nikola Jokic – 95

2K21 Rating: 90

The season MVP is right behind Giannis, but his only real “weakness” is dunk ability, so it more than makes sense.

3. Luka Doncic – 94

2K21 Rating: 94

Doncic follows naturally, however on the offensive side of the game he is the most lethal player out of the top 3.

4. Rudy Gobert – 88

2K21 Rating: 87

The French big man is a force in defense and that’s good enough for a total of 88 ranking.

5. Clint Capela – 86

2K21 Rating: 82

He was a key member of the breakout season of the Hawks and his numbers are clearly comparable with those of Gobert.

5. Domantas Sabonis – 86

2K21 Rating: 85

He remains one of the most underrated players in the NBA and that can be said also about his representation in the NBA2k, where he is a good all around big.

7. Nikola Vucevic – 85

2K21 Rating: 86

Leaving Orlando for the Bulls is still a work in progress for Vucevic, who can be in theory the best European big man, yes even compared to Gobert. Still his representation is accurate, down to his three-point shooting ability.

8. Kristaps Porzingis – 84

2K21 Rating: 87

Porzingis still has to find his right role in Dallas and that’s reflected also in 2k. He is considered a center in the game, but we all know that at heart he s a PF.

9. Jonas Valanciunas – 83

2K21 Rating: 81

One of the most solid bigs in the league, but half a step behind the other European big man. Seems right.

10. Jusuf Nurkic – 81

2K21 Rating: 84

Injuries are hurting him both in real life and in the game. In theory he can do better.

11. Bogdan Bogdanovic – 80

2K21 Rating: 80

Ok, we all know that Bogdanovic can shoot and the game got this right, but there’s more to his game and it’s just a matter of time for everyone to realize it.
