A lot of action was seen in the latest NBA night with ten games on the schedule and some surprising results followed as well.

Giannis Antetokounmpo had perhaps the biggest performance of the night with 40 points, 16 rebounds, and seven assists but it wasn’t enough to save the Bucks from an inspired Timberwolves squad led by D’Angelo Russell, Anthony Edwards, and Karl-Anthony Towns.

Dennis Schroder and the Celtics didn’t have much success either as the guard logged 22 points and six assists in the loss to the Wizards.

Atlanta Hawks were victorious against the New Orleans Pelicans thanks to Trae Young’s 31 points but Bogdan Bogdanovic with 12 and Gallinari with nine points also contributed. Clint Capela scored five points but dominated the boards as usual with 12 rebounds.

On the opposing side, Jonas Valanciunas put up a double-double with 16 points and 15 rebounds.

Meanwhile, the Blazers got the job done against the Grizzlies as Jusuf Nurkic went for 17 points and eight rebounds.

In a clash with most Euro action, Ricky Rubio (15 points) and Lauri Markkanen’s (7 points, 9 rebounds) Cavaliers came out on top against Nic Batum and Ivica Zubac’s Clippers.

Another solid performance was seen from Franz Wagner (15 points) in Orlando’s loss to Charlotte. Toronto beat Indiana with Svi Mykhailiuk scoring seven for the winner while Sabonis had 9-8-3 for the losing squad.

Aide of the Euro action, the duels that grabbed the spotlight were Miami which took down Brooklyn thanks to Jimmy Buttler’s big 17-14-7 display, and the biggest surprise so far this season – Oklahoma beating the Lakers.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the way with 27 points for the Thunder who were down by as much as 26 points in the second quarter. Darius Bazely added 20 and Josh Giddey 18 points. Giddey also dished out ten assists.

For the Lakers, Anthony Davis put up 30 points and Russell Westbrook had a 20-14-13 stat line, however, the latter also made ten turnovers, for which he took the responsibility post-game.
